A few laughs, some funny stories to share by the coffee machine, maybe a couple of photos for the internal newsletter. But also the subtle feeling that, in the end, it was just a break. A fun moment, sure, but disconnected from the real work and the team’s everyday dynamics.
This is the significant contradiction of traditional team building: it presents itself as an investment in relationships, but often ends up being merely entertainment. And from this reflection comes our provocation: team building is dead. Long live team playing.

To play
Our approach starts from a clear premise: play does not exclude seriousness. Johan Huizinga said it back in 1938. But unlike casual games or corporate entertainment, our version of team playing is built around immersive scenarios, active roles, real-time feedback, and post-event reporting.
In a SEPHIROT® simulation, each participant assumes a role within an interactive narrative. They’re called upon to make decisions, manage conflicts, collaborate, and improvise. All within a play environment guided by professional performers, who interact live with the group, adapting the pace and complexity of the experience based on the real dynamics that emerge.
That means every session is unique and every team is observed, supported, and documented in its choices, reactions, and modes of interaction.
Soft Skills, Hard Data
For us, play is not the goal. It’s a means to develop skills and gather data.
That’s why, at the end of each experience, we provide customised reporting, with key indicators such as distributed leadership, stress management, verbal and nonverbal communication, collaborative problem-solving, lateral thinking, time management, active listening and assertiveness.
The report is produced by experienced facilitators, with the support of a psychologist. It can serve as a starting point for follow-up training, development conversations, or simply as a tool to reflect on what works (and what doesn’t) in the team’s dynamics.

SEPHIROT® is a modular system, fully adaptable to your needs. We can design experiences that are:
